Innopolis University has 17 laboratories and 9 research centers, which conduct research in the field of artificial intelligence, robotics, big data, software development, information security
The university’s project-based activities are aimed at implementing grant-based and commercial projects, as well as at enhancing the availability of education in IT areas.
Education, research and development in the field of IT and Robotics
The program includes a number of unique courses based on recent academic and technological research in the field of robotics, developed and taught by internationally recognized experts in the field.
The program is intended for professionals who want to explore the horizons in the field of robotics, as well as to become highly qualified professionals in the following areas:
- mechatronics, control and prototyping
- modern numerical methods for solving complex technical and optimization problems based on machine learning
- applied problems solving in the field of self-driving vehicles, industrial robotics and vision systems
• Sensing/perception
• Thinking/planning
• Action/control
We constantly refine the curriculum by introducing the most relevant industrial and research topics, and we also offer a variety of technical electives taught by both academics (including invited foreign researchers) and industry professionals.

Graduates gain fundamental knowledge in the field of mechatronics, artificial intelligence and high-level control and can use it in practice. We train multidisciplinary specialists demanded in the modern industry and science:
• Programmers with good knowledge of mathematics and physics
• Electronic / mechanical engineers with programming skills
• Perception engineers (computer vision, sensor fusion, machine learning)
• Algorithm Engineers / Data Scientists with an understanding of physics and engineering
• Control and automation engineers with embedded systems programming skills
• Researchers with experience in specialized fields of robotics

— A technical university degree
— Expertise in physics and mathematics (entry tests)

2. Participation in robotics contests
3. Scientific publications in journals included in Web of science, Scopus

Successful applications are selected for further consideration. We would like to see the candidates with strong expertise in physics and mathematics, programming skills, and ability to implement them at solving practical tasks. Knowledge of robotics is not compulsory.

— Strong fundamentals in mathematics (linear algebra, mathematical analysis, differential equations, probability theory, statistics)
— Understanding of physics and its processes (mechanics)
— Programming skills (low level or/and high-level programming languages)

- Mathematical test (Calculus, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics)
- Physics test (Mechanics, Electrical engineering) Programming
This is a technical interview with questions on practical experience, on the basics of Computer Science (CS): algorithms, data structures, theory of automata, networks, etc.
This interview aims to identify your personal qualities. During the conversation, you may be asked questions about your motivation, study and work, and others.

Receive the scholarship offer by e-mail and confirm it. Provide all enrollment and visa documents, pay tuition fee (for Partial Scholarship candidates) and come to Innopolis in mid-August.
